I want you to forget everything you once thought you knew about nutrition. Forget all the lies, the propaganda and the fad-diets. What if I told you that the cure to heart disease, obesity, cancer all begins on your plate? What if all these alleged ‘health’ foods you have been eating for so long are doing more harm than good?
On this blog you will find an abundance of raw and cooked vegan recipes. My recipes are composed of wholesome, plant ingredients consisting of 10 or less ingredients, which is not only good for your health but good for your wallet! I believe a diet comprised of mainly complex carbohydrates, little to no fat and sufficient (not excess) protein is the key to living a long and healthy life. It’s all about taking the foods you love and putting a healthy spin on it.
I promote a simplistic lifestyle and try incorporate that into all of my posts. I aim to live as naturally, ethically and un-materialistically as possible and encourage those who follow my blog to do the same.
My ambition is to motivate and inspire others. To share my personal journey as a vegan throughout this fast-paced, meat-filled, modern world and enforce and proliferate change.
To me, being vegan is not a label, and as corny as it sounds, it’s a way to find your truest self. Converting my lifestyle to to veganism was the final step that made me the healthiest, happiest, truest possible version of myself.
