Happy Monday everyone!
Need a boost? Feeling a bit low? You need a green smoothie.
Now, now…don’t judge a book by it’s cover.
This smoothie is the most un-photogenic thing I have ever photographed. I’m not gonna lie it kind of looks like swamp water.
But it tastes so good.
Moral of the story: Do not judge a book by it’s cover, and green smoothies are epic.
Hopefully you can see past the green sewer water and admire this smoothie for it’s glorious taste and health benefits!
-3 frozen bananas
-2 cups of leafy greens (I use 1 cup of spinach and 1 cup of kale)
-1 tsp. wheatgrass powder
– I scoop of Vanilla Vega Protein Powder (I love this one because it has 20g of plant based protein and extra added greens! Plus it tastes amazing!)
-1/2 cup of raw almond milk
-1/2 cup of water (or more almond milk)
Throw everything into your blender and blend away!
