Chocolate Milkshake: Minus the Milk

Hi Everyone!

I have already done this on my Instagram, but I just wanted to stop by and say Merry Christmas to all of you! Even if you don’t celebrate Christmas, I hope you all have a fantastic day with your family and friends and that it’s filled with love, hope, and joy! Spread some holiday cheer 🙂

Well it’s not that special. BUT, it’s so good that I have had it every day this week.

Simple & decadent.

I like those words.

I present to you…the best chocolate mylkshake you will ever have in your life. Yes, that is what I’m calling it. Wait no, it’s actually more like a silkshake (yes a silkshake…stupid autocorrect)…it’s so creamy, silky smooth…OKAY. Let’s just get onto the recipe.

The Best Chocolate Silkshake You Will Ever Have

Recipe:

-3 chopped frozen ripe bananas

-1/2 cup of raw almond milk

-1/2 cup of water (adjust to your preferred thickness)

-1/2 tbsp. almond butter

-2 tbsp. of carob powder

-1 tbsp. of coconut sugar

-Optional: I sometimes add maca for an extra boost or, for a super sweet variation, I add english toffee stevia drops! So. Good.

Method:

Add all ingredients to your blender. I use a Vitamix so I don’t need to thaw my bananas prior, but if you don’t have a high speed blender leave them out for 15 minutes or so. Blend, blend, blend! You can change up the almond milk water ratio too, depending on your desired thickness, and creaminess.

I think this is the best christmas present I have ever gave!
